1. East Tennessee Koi Club 2009 Pond Tour

The 2009 Pond Tour will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2009, from 10 am until 5 pm, and on Sunday, July 19th, 2009, from 1 pm until 5 pm. This will be a self-guided tour with directions to over 30 water features across Knox and Blount counties listed on tickets. Features range in size from small, pondless waterfalls to 350,000 gallon ponds! Features are both private-residential and public-commercial. Donations will be accepted and the money will be split between the Blount County Humane Society and the East Tennessee Koi Club.

Tickets are free and will be available at: Popes in Maryville (982-9217, ext. 16, Kimber), Apple Tree Nursery in Karns (670-3535, Victoria or Brian), Creekside Nurseries off Northshore Drive, 2.7 Miles from Pellissippi (692-0052, Missy), and from Dream Ponds & Pools and Easy Gardener (305 S. Northshore Drive, Knoxville, near Papermill) and (5515 Peyton Place, Knoxville, north Knoxville).

3. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION QUESTIONS AND QUOTES

John Adams, Modern Design Aquascaping's Owner, does his own consultations, designs, and on-site, hands-on installation supervision. It's a very challenging schedule, but John's presence on your jobsite insures that you will receive a unique water feature custom built for your location by one of the countries best water feature specialists! In order for him to be designer, as well as the head of the install crew, John's time has to be very organized, and for this reason, we've set up the following "information chain" to facilitate the question/quote process:

.....upon request, we will be happy to supply you with current reference list,

.....John will do a one-on-one Professional Installation Consultation at your site, by appointment (Tuesday through Thursday), generally at 5:30 pm. He may well be dirty and sweaty, and even a little late, as he generally comes directly from a jobsite; but , if after answering your questions, it is mutually decided to continue with the project, he will then do a design w/firm quote.

.....The Consultation Fee is $75.00 for initial Professional Installation Consultations at sites within a 40-mile radius of Friendsville. Outside of the 40-mile radius, an additional trip charge will apply based on distance.

.....The Consultation Fee is also $75.00 for initial Do-It-Yourself Consultations. If you wish to hire John to design a feature to build yourself, he will give a more detailed design with complete materials list, as well as all the help you need, and his time spent on the project will be billed at an hourly rate. If the jobsite is outside of a 40-mile radius of Friendsville, an additional trip charge/trip to jobsite will also apply.
